RANGELANDS June 2008 Special Issue “Rangelands and Climate Change” Supplemental Readings
The files below contain supplemental reading materials for the articles in the June 2008 Issue of Rangelands. The effect of climate change on rangelands is very complex and it would be virtually impossible to cover all aspects of rangeland responses to climate change for even a limited geographic region within the confines of a single issue of a journal. To provide more information for interested readers, the authors have supplied expanded reading materials to supplement the limited discussion in the journal.
These files provide reading lists to accompany the journal articles:
- climate change and ecosystems of asia with emphasis on inner mongolia and mongolia – Angerer et al
- climate change and ecosystems of the southwestern usa – Archer and Predick
The files below are expanded versions of the journal papers with extensive citations:
- climate change impacts on australian rangelands – Stokes et al
- management implications of global change for great plains rangelands – Morgan et al
- climate change impacts on northwestern and intermountain U.S. rangelands – Chambers and Pellant
- climate change impacts on south american rangelands – Yahdjian and Sala
- climate change impacts on african rangelands – Hoffman and Vogel
