Grasslands have been here longer than human history and withstood the test of time throughout generations of change and the stewards who cared for them. Even through the exponential changes of today, Grasslands endure.

Join us in Wichita, Kansas, as the Society for Range Management rallies around Our Enduring Grasslands—a theme rooted in the full weight of “endure.” Our grasslands have outlasted human history, generations of stewards, and enjoy a deep Western heritage of living and working on the land, yet they also endure conversion, woody encroachment, invasive species, and relentless land‑use change. This Annual Meeting & Training puts that story front and center, showcasing the people and practices that are keeping rangelands productive, resilient, and ready for the next generation.

Meeting Room Request

Committees, University and Section Socials (and any other room requests outside of technical sessions) submit your room request needs here! All submissions must be made by November 9th. Indicate your date, time, AV, F&B and room-set preferences here. Please note--not all AV and room set requests will be granted based on facility and meeting restrictions. Any questions? Hotel Information

It’s time to book your room in Wichita!

This year, SRM has contracted with 5 hotels to provide special room rates to all SRM meeting attendees. The hotels range from the host hotel connected to the Century II Center, the Drury Plaza across the street, then three properties ranging from .4 to 1 mile from the Center. All hotels are competitively priced, many with per diem options, all within walking distance to this year’s meeting.

As was done in 2021 for the Boise meeting, SRM is working with Orchid Events to provide a one-stop-shop for all your booking needs. Simply following the booking instructions: Housing-Instructions_Orchid.docx, click on the reservation link and once inputting your stay-dates you will be presented with the hotel options available. It’s as simple as that!
