I am seeking a graduate student interested in pursuing a MS degree in Biology.
Job Type: M.S. Research Assistantship
Apply by: 12/01/2022
How to Apply:
Prospective applicants should have research interests in botany, native plant conservation, and/or plant ecology and should have strong field skills. Applicants should have a B.S. in biology or a related field. Successful applicants must score 565 or higher using the following formula: ([60 hours undergraduate GPA multiplied by 100] + [Verbal GRE Score + Quantitative GRE Score]). Applicants with previous experience surveying for rare plants are preferred, however a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are more important than experience.
To apply or inquire about more information, email Dr. Ben Skipper (email@example.com). Applications should include a 1) letter of interest that highlights your qualifications, experience, and career goals, 2) your CV or resume, 3) unofficial college transcripts, and 4) the names and contact information for three references that are familiar with your academic and work history. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. Note: the selected applicant will still need to apply for and be accepted into ASU’s graduate program (deadline for spring enrollment, 1 Dec.). More information on that process can be found here and here.
