The Joint International Grassland and Rangeland 2021 Congress theme is “Sustainable Use of Grassland and Rangeland Resources for Improved Livelihoods’. Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation, Kenya and the Kenyan Agriculture and Livestock Research Organisation (KALRO), in conjunction with the Animal Production Society of Keny, the congress will showcase innovative research and technologies developed in Kenya and Africa, as well as cutting edge research from around the world. The Kenyan Government places great importance on improving agriculture and livestock production as a means of raising rural household incomes. The congress will examine possible integrated solutions to foster equitable development and resilience, while mitigating the risks of climate change and natural disasters.
