Jenna Stanton
Director of Policy & Federal Affairs
Jenna Stanton serves as Director of Federal Policy and Public Affairs for the Society for Range Management, leading the Society’s presence in Washington, D.C. She represents SRM in meetings with federal agencies, Members of Congress, industry associations, and partner organizations to advance rangeland science and management priorities at the national level.
Jenna plans and executes SRM’s fly-in activities, coordinates member engagement with policymakers, and monitors legislative and regulatory developments affecting rangelands and natural resource management. She provides regular federal policy updates through SRM’s "Washington Watch" and supports timely member communications.
With experience in a state department of agriculture and the U.S. Senate, Jenna brings both public- and private-sector policy expertise to her role. A Midwesterner raised in agriculture, she holds a degree in Agribusiness Management and Policy from Michigan State University and works to ensure SRM’s voice is effectively represented in federal discussions.
