SRM Announces Partnership Agreement with Country Natural Beef
The Society for Range Management (SRM) has entered into a partnership agreement with Country Natural Beef (CNB), the largest ranching cooperative in the western United States. CNB’s nearly 100 members represent over 4 million acres in 8 Western states and operate according to a shared philosophy: leave the land better than you found it.
CNB’s Grazewell program was initiated to help ranchers better understand and improve their land, with an emphasis on monitoring data points such as soil and water quality, biodiversity, and ground cover. As part of the Grazewell program, CNB members are required to attend at least one formal educational event per year related to grazing management.
To support CNB members in fulfilling this requirement, SRM will provide complimentary registration to the SRM Annual Meeting for five CNB producers each year. Additionally, all CNB members will receive membership affiliation with SRM’s Good Grazing Makes Cent$ program, providing access to rangeland management resources and ongoing professional development. SRM will also make available to CNB members information and resources about the Certified Professional in Rangeland Management program, further supporting their commitment to excellence in land stewardship.
This partnership reflects the mutual commitment of both organizations to advance sustainable grazing management through education, science, and knowledge sharing.
