About The Position
Rangeland Management Specialist
This position is hands‑on and boots‑on‑the‑ground—supporting your federal
public lands and the families who rely on these rangelands
for grazing. It’s meaningful work that blends stewardship,
partnership, and daily engagement with the landscape.
• Collect and analyze vegetation and rangeland health data
• Support grazing permit operations
• Collaborate with grazing associations, ranchers, & partners
• Design & monitor habitat and land improvement projects
• Explore prairie country using trucks & UTVs in all seasons
