Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates with a Master’s degree in progress may be considered for interviews, but degree must be completed by hire date.
One degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) must be awarded in agricultural communications, natural resources journalism, natural science teaching, environment and natural resources, human dimensions of natural resources, ecology, wildlife management, rangeland management, animal science, agricultural economics, plant science, botany, horticulture, soil science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
Ability to participate in some overnight travel, evening, and weekend work.
Work Eligibility
This position provides vital support to UW Extension clientele and requires the successful candidate to be available to work in person at the Carbon County Extension Office in Rawlins, Wyoming. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United States, as sponsorship or work visas are not available for this position.
