About The Position

Chadron State College is seeking a Rangeland Management & Ecology faculty member who is interested in educating the next generation of land managers. The Rangeland Management Department is a collegial group who believe in creating hands-on and student-centered learning environments for our students to thrive. Please apply if you have a passion for teaching, a willingness to embrace evolving and emerging technologies, and a strong background in wildland fire, fire ecology, and/or forest management.
The Rangeland Management Department at Chadron State College is looking for a tenure track faculty member to join the department to teach elements of the core curriculum including introductory natural resources course, resource management planning, GIS, and inventory and analysis while also working to develop a program with an emphasis in wildland fire and forestry management.
The Rangeland Management Department offers a comprehensive degree in rangeland management. This position would educate a diverse group of students with interests in: land management, ecology, agriculture, and wildlife management.
