
Extension Specialist/Assistant Professor of Rangeland Ecology and Management
About The Position
- Ph.D. at the time of hire in a discipline focused on rangeland ecology and management
- Evidence of research productivity in the form of peer-reviewed journal publications
- Evidence of experience in extension and/or outreach in rangeland ecology and management
- Evidence of experience with herbivory, vegetation and plant communities on rangelands in the Western U.S.
- Evidence of working with diverse groups of stakeholders to support sustainable rangeland stewardship, community-based conservation, and use of natural resources.
- Evidence of success at obtaining grant funding
- Evidence of experience mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate research
- Postdoctoral experience
- Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Wyoming rangeland vegetation and plant communities on rangelands in the Western U.S.
