Littleton, CO (12/7/2016): The Society for Range Management is proud to present its new and completely redesigned website. SRM staff worked closely with 2 Dogs Media LLC who specializes in non profit website design throughout the process, gathering content from the original website and building it into an easier-to-use platform that is visually representative of all segments of SRM membership.
The webpage features a more navigable and organized format with a professional, but inviting design. 2 Dogs Media LLC, SRM staff, and the Outreach, Communications, and Website (OCW) Committee have been working to update information and design the website to represent the society and its message.
Features include:
- Updated images, pages and tab menus;
- Image tabs that lead directly to employment, news & events, and SRM sections;
- Banners highlighting the SRM motto and the SRM Annual Meeting;
- Scrolling feed of social media posts and the latest rangeland news information;
- Easy access to the SRM apparel store and the SRM Endowment Fund;
In addition to the many improvements in design and navigability, SRM Committees now have the capability and option to edit their own information on the site.
We invite you to visit the website at www.rangelands.org. Users are welcome to give feedback and suggestions using the website feedback form in the “Welcome to the NEW WEBSITE” notice under the “Latest News” section on the homepage.
Please keep in mind that, although the website has gone through an extensive process of editing and soft launches, some content still needs to be updated. SRM will continue to update the site following the public launch.
The old website will also continue to be available as an archived site. You can find the link at the bottom of the page under “Resources – Archive.” The process of archiving this site will also continue after the public launch of the new site, which may cause some pages to load slowly or return with a page not found error. Please bear with during this transition as we continue this archiving process.
