Membership Information

Membership in the Society for Range Management is open to anyone engaged in or interested in any aspect of the study, management, or use of rangelands. Membership rights and privileges include: voting, committee service, nomination and election to offices, subscription to Rangelands journal and the Rangeland News (formerly Member Resource News), discounted prices for publications, meeting registration fees, page charges and certification fees. Publications: Members may subscribe to Rangeland Ecology & Management (formerly Journal of Range Management).
SRM Mexico International: Dues include $5 section membership.

REGULAR MEMBERSHIPS:

Regular - Basic individual membership in SRM, includes Rangelands and Rangeland News (formerly Member Resource News), voting privileges, committee service, and nomination & election to any office.

Regular Unsectioned - Basic individual membership in SRM, includes Rangelands and Rangeland News (formerly Member Resource News), voting privileges, committee service, and nomination & election to any office. Resides in a country NOT listed.

• Dues: $80
• Country List

Regular International - Special membership for members residing in and a citizen of specific countries. The membership includes basic individual membership in SRM, voting privileges, committee service, and nomination & election to any office. Electronic subscriptions (on-line only) to the Society's publications: Rangelands, Rangeland News (formerly Member Resource News), and Rangeland Ecology & Management (formerly Journal of Range Management) are included.

• Dues: $25
• Dues - Mexico: $30 (includes $5 section dues)

STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS:

Student - Full-time students (high school through graduate school). Not eligible to hold office. Must succeed to different class of membership in the calendar year following termination of course of study. Must provide proof of full-time student status.

Student Unsectioned - Full-time students (high school through graduate school). Not eligible to hold office. Must succeed to different class of membership in the calendar year following termination of course of study. Must provide proof of full-time student status.

OTHER MEMBERSHIPS:

Family - Individuals of same household desiring more than one Regular membership. Families receive only one set of publications, but each member retains all rights and privileges of a Regular member.
Dues: $35 (each additional - all Sections); $30 (each additional - Unsectioned)

Life - Same as Regular with one-time dues payment.
Dues: $1,500 (Call SRM office for installment plan option)

Life Family - Individuals of same family desiring more than one Life membership. Same as Family with one-time dues payment.
Dues: $1,750 (Call SRM office for installment plan option)

Institutional - Institutions or other entities not organized for profit (i.e., Federal agencies, livestock organizations, Indian tribes, universites). Membership is in institutions name with a designated representative. Not eligible to hold office. Listed in Society publications.
Dues: $205 (all Sections); $200 (Unsectioned)

Commercial - Businesses, proprietorships, individuals or other entities organized for profit. Must designate a representative. Commercial members receive discounted advertising rates in Society publications, discounts for exhibit space at SRM Annual Meeting and are listed annually in Society publications.
Dues: $525 (all Sections); $500 (Unsectioned).

PUBLICATIONS:

Rangeland Ecology & Management (formerly Journal of Range Management): Subscriptions are available with any membership for $40.
