Area of Consideration: Open to any current or former Federal Employee with competitive civil service status, reinstatement, or special hiring authority eligibility.

This position deals primarily with Grazing Administration, Litigation, and the Wild Horse & Burro program. This position is teamed with another RMS lead that is focused on rangeland monitoring and ecology with emphasis on integration with other programs that are key to rangeland health and productivity. Together these two positions provide the overall leadership to address a broad range of on-the-ground issues and development of long-term strategies.

Idaho has a very active rangeland management program with a diverse set of issues and public interest that help keep Idaho BLM at the forefront of national issues and policy direction. As a state, Idaho has a diverse landscape with tremendous public lands opportunities. Boise is an outstanding community to live in that consistently is rated on various "Top Ten" lists addressing quality of life, business opportunities, etc.
