Did you walk away from the 2017 Annual Meeting inspired by your fellow range professionals and SRM members? Now is your chance to honor them for their contributions to the field of range management and/or the Society! The Awards Committee will be accepting nominations until July 1, 2017 for Honor Awards to be presented at the 2018 Annual Meeting in Sparks, Nevada.
The Committee is excepting nomination for eight honor awards at this time: Frederic G. Renner Award, W.R. Chapline Land Stewardship Award, W.R. Chapline Research Award Sustained Lifetime Achievement Award, Fellow of the Society for Range Management Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, Outstanding Young Range Professional Award, and YPC Outstanding Apprentice Award. These awards honor SRM members, rangeland professionals, and conservation groups for their contributions to range management and/or the Society. These awards honor professionals at various stages in their career from young professionals just getting started to seasoned professionals at their pinnacle.

Please be sure to use the SRM AWARDS NOMINATION FORM and follow the instructions outlined in the current version of the Awards Committee Handbook, available on the committee website. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS can be found on page 25, and the form/format begins on page 26. You may request the MS Word version of the nominations form from either Vicky or Awards Chair Miranda Meehan.
